According to different methods of use, it can be divided into four types: manual winch, electric winch, pneumatic winch, and hydraulic winch. Currently, the largest domestic marine hydraulic winch is 350T, and the equipment weight reaches 150T.
It is divided into single drum and double drum according to the form of drum.
According to the distribution form of reels, it can be divided into parallel double reels and front and rear double reels.
The main technical indicators of hydraulic winch include rated load, supporting load, rope speed, rope capacity, etc.
Winches are small and light lifting equipment (see Lifting Machinery) that use reels to wind steel wire ropes or chains to lift or tow heavy objects, also known as winches. The winch can be used alone or as a component of machinery such as lifting, road building, and mine hoisting. It is widely used due to its simple operation, large amount of rope winding, and convenient relocation. The winch is also known as a winch. This product is highly versatile, compact in structure, small in size, light in weight, heavy in weight, and convenient in use and transfer. It is widely used for lifting or towing materials in buildings, water conservancy projects, forestry, mines, docks, and other fields. It can also be used as a supporting equipment for modern electronic control automatic production lines.
Winches are divided into three categories according to power: manual, electric, and hydraulic.
The transmission mechanism of the handle rotation of the manual winch is equipped with a stopper (ratchet and pawl) to keep the weight in the desired position. Manual winches used for assembling or lifting heavy objects should also be equipped with safety handles and brakes. Manual winches are generally used in places with low lifting capacity, poor facilities, or no power supply.
Electric winches are widely used in places with heavy work and high traction requirements. The motor of the single drum electric winch (shown in the figure) drives the drum through a reducer, and a brake is installed between the motor and the input shaft of the reducer. In order to meet the needs of lifting, traction, and slewing operations, there are also winches with dual drum and multi drum devices. Generally, winches with a rated load lower than 10T can be designed as electric winches.
The hydraulic winch is mainly a winch with a large rated load. Generally, the winch with a capacity of more than 10T to 5000T is designed as a hydraulic winch. Winches can be divided into:
Marine Winches: Marine winches can also be divided into towing winches, mooring winches, anchor winches, traction winches, and so on.
Engineering winch: mainly used in engineering, mainly for functions such as winch and lifting.
Mining winch: It is divided into lifting winch, dispatching winch, sinking winch, column winch, rake winch, column winch, etc.
Cable winch: mainly used for laying cables.
