1 General provisions
Construction elevator drivers must receive specialized safety technical training and pass the examination before taking up their posts with certificates. It is strictly prohibited to work under the influence of alcohol.
The driver must be familiar with the performance, construction, maintenance, and repair knowledge of the elevator being operated, and timely fill in the mechanical resume and required reports as required.
Within 5 meters around the construction elevator, flammable and explosive materials and other debris shall not be stacked. Trenches, pits, and trenches shall not be excavated within this range. The ground entrance and exit of the elevator shall be provided with a protective shed.
During cage maintenance, if the weight of the cage is lower than the counterweight after removing the components, the cage must be temporarily fixed on the guide rail frame.
It is strictly prohibited to use the guide rail frame, horizontal and vertical support of the construction elevator to pull cables, slogans, and other items unrelated to the elevator.
Tower cranes or other lifting machinery constructed on the same site should be more than 5 meters away from the construction elevator, and reliable anti-collision measures should be taken.
After installation, the construction elevator must be inspected and accepted by relevant personnel before it can be put into use.
2 Safe operation
When the construction elevator operates for the first time in each shift, it must operate with no load and full load, lift the cage to about 1 meter above the ground, stop, check the brake sensitivity, and then continue to go up the floor platform, check the safety protection door, upper limit, front and rear door limits, and confirm that they are normal before putting into operation.
2. When carrying people and objects, the lifting cage must distribute the load evenly, and overloading operations are strictly prohibited.
When the elevator runs to the top and bottom layers, the buttons should still be operated. It is strictly prohibited to stop the elevator by automatically colliding the travel switch.
Before starting the construction elevator, it is necessary to whistle for warning, and there should be sufficient lighting for night operation.
For a lift with two cages, when one cage is undergoing cage maintenance or repair, the other cage must not be operated.
During the operation of the elevator, the driver shall not make any action that may hinder the operation of the elevator, and shall not leave the operating position. He shall observe the sound, temperature, odor, and foreign obstacles in all parts of the elevator at any time. If any abnormality is found, he shall stop the elevator for inspection and handling in a timely manner. If the fault is not eliminated, it is strictly prohibited to operate.
The following regulations shall be observed after the construction elevator is stopped:
The driver shall not leave the operation position before the main power switch of the elevator is cut off;
After operation, lower the cage to the bottom, move the control switches to the zero position, cut off the power supply, and lock the switch box and elevator door;
After 3 shifts, clean and maintain as required, and make shift records.
Stop operation in case of the following situations:
Severe weather: heavy rain, strong winds (above Force 6), heavy fog, icy guide rails, etc;
2. Unclear lights and signals;
Mechanical failure has not been eliminated;
4. The broken wire of the steel wire rope is worn beyond the scrapping standard.
3 Installation and Removal
Before installation, the foundation, power supply, light source, tools, and elevator access roads and storage areas should be prepared as required.
2. Count and inspect the inner and outer elevator cages, counterweights, wire ropes, guide rails, horizontal and vertical supports, bridges, fences, etc. of the construction elevator to ensure that they are complete and intact, and replace or repair any nonconformities.
3. Check the strength of the embedded parts at the connection between the elevator guide rail frame and the building, which must comply with regulations.
When working under the hanging cage, it must be firmly supported with sleepers.
Installation and disassembly must be under the unified command of a dedicated person. A restricted area shall be set above the operation area and within 10 meters of the ground, and a dedicated person shall be assigned for supervision.
Before reinstalling the elevator (transferring to the construction site), the safety device must be carefully inspected and debugged. If the service life expires for 1 year, it shall be overhauled and debugged again.
When performing installation, disassembly, and maintenance operations on the top of the cage, movable buttons must be used.
During installation and disassembly, it is strictly prohibited to exceed the provisions of the erection load (i.e., the load without counterweight).
Install and disassemble the guide rail frame with a crane, and the assembly of the guide rail frame shall not exceed four sections.
Do not start the lift cage when there are suspended objects on the installation boom.
Before disassembling the guide rail frame, the guide rail frame must be fastened before loosening the bolts. The guide wheel above the cage must be lowered below the guide rail frame to be removed.
The installation and removal of horizontal and vertical supports must be synchronized with the height of the guide rail frame.
The free height of the top of the guide rail frame, the distance between the two attachment points of the guide rail frame and the building, and the height of the lowest attachment point of the guide rail frame shall not exceed the factory regulations.
14. Installation and disassembly are not allowed in rainy days, foggy days, and weather with a force five wind or above.
When working on the guide rail frame, installation, disassembly, and maintenance personnel should wear safety belts, and should not wear hard soled shoes. They should not use throwing methods to transfer tools and devices. When tightening and loosening bolts, it is strictly prohibited to operate with both hands. They should carry a wrench with one hand and hold the rod of the guide rail frame with the other.
